Midtown Exchange / SEARS Building
Project Location: Minneapolis, MN
The SCW2500 windows are both aesthetically pleasing and pleasing in performance value. Its narrow sightlines offer maximum glass area and minimal frame providing unrestrictive views and lots of daylight while the I-strut thermal barrier provides exceptional thermal performance.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Sears, Roebuck, and Company Mail-Order Warehouse and Retail Store, the Midtown Exchange in Minneapolis MN was transformed into a multipurpose commercial space in 2005.
“The rehabilitation of Minneapolis’ Sears building is a great example of how historic preservation and community revitalization go hand in hand. Midtown Exchange has given new life not only to this historic structure, but also to a community that was beginning to lose hope.”
